SafeZone is a FREE app for all students and staff, that connects you directly to the university security team when you need help while you are on campus. You’ll be able to get urgent help if you feel threatened or call for First Aid or Help in less urgent situations as well.When you raise an alarm or call for help, all on-campus security team members will be alerted to your situation and location so that they can coordinate to help you quickly and effectively.The SafeZone service is specific to SafeZone Areas that have been defined by your campus security team. You can find out what areas are covered by referring to the security pages on your university’s website. See Support/FAQ to find out which universities are currently offering the SafeZone service.While you are within one of the defined areas, the security team will be responding to your alarm or call.In Australia, if you use SafeZone outside the defined Areas, the App will direct you to a 000 call and connect you to the appropriate Australian 000 emergency call centre.
