PlugSurfing is a free charging point payment app that allows electric car owners to easily find charging stations and pay for electric car charging.
The most detailed charging point map in Europe
PlugSurfing is more than just a charging stations map. It is Europe’s most detailed and accurate charging point database and it provides the real time status of charging stations. You can see which charging point is available, if there is anything special about it and add comments. Most importantly, you can find out the costs of the charging point where you can pay with PlugSurfing.
No more range anxiety
Charging your car becomes much simpler: no longer are numerous contracts or RFID charging cards needed to use the various charging point operators. Simply use the app or the PlugSurfing keyhanger to charge your electric car, whether you own a Nissan Leaf, a BMW i3, a Tesla or any other brand.
Payment with PlugSurfing is currently available in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium and Luxemburg. We are working hard to offer this service across the whole of Europe.

The PlugSurfing App requires the following authorisations to allow you to access charging stations :
• Precise and approximate location (GPS and network-based): map location
• Directly call phone numbers: in-app support call
• Modify or delete the contents of your USB storage: upload pictures of charging stations
• Take pictures and videos: allows you to take pictures of charging stations
• prevent device from sleeping, control vibration, control flashlight: improve customer experience
• Receive data from Internet, view network connections, change network connectivity, full network access, read Google service configuration: connects you to the PlugSurfing service
